Day 1: Venice Italy
Board the train at Venice Santa Lucia station and, once settled, enjoy a lavish three-course lunch in one of our opulent dining cars. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the comfort of your private cabin with high tea, gazing at Europe as it unfolds before you.
Later, a decadent four-course dinner is prepared on board by our skilled chefs. After you may wish to carouse in the Bar Car, listening to our resident pianist as champagne flows freely. When ready, retire to your suite or cabin, which you’ll find has been transformed into a cosy boudoir.
Day 2: London, England
Your steward serves Continental breakfast in your cabin before the train pulls into Paris. Feel free to stretch your legs on the platform while we pause to pick up new passengers and supplies.
As we continue onwards towards the Channel ports, enjoy a delicious brunch in one of the dining cars. At Calais Ville Station, board a private coach to the shuttle terminal at Coquelles before travelling onward through the Channel Tunnel. Our uniformed hosts will look after you throughout the journey.
At Folkestone, you join the art deco British Pullman, A Belmond Train, sister train of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, for the journey to London. Indulge in a traditional English afternoon tea, accompanied by a glass of sparkling English rosé, as the train courses through the verdant Kent countryside. Disembark at London Victoria station for your onward arrangements.
